MultiCam Selected for Afghan Theatre by US Army

After a rigorous four-month evaluation of alternate camouflage patterns, the Secretary of the Army has selected MultiCam as the camouflage pattern for all uniforms, as well as operational clothing and individual equipment, for Soldiers deploying to Afghanistan. The uniforms and OCIE will be provided to Soldiers through PEO Soldier’s Project Manager Soldier Protection and Individual Equipment.
We’ve posted a couple of images here of Soldiers involved in the evaluation process. Stay tuned for more information and images related to MultiCam and the process that led to the selection of this new pattern for the Fire Resistant Army Combat Uniform.
