Morning guys

I'm interested in getting a realistic looking smallish C02 pistol that can shoot metal pellets.

Can these kill a bird at close range (5-10 m)?

What kind of pellets do they shoot, the round ones or normal air rifle pellets?

Also, where is the best place in JHB to go and look at these things?

So I have done a bit of research regarding the weaver mounts available for my (old) Savage .22Hornet, but it's not really what I want, as I have a Scope with a 30mm tube and a side focus wheel that I wish to use.


Who would you recommend as a Gunsmith / engineer who would be able to manufacture something like this? The mount pictured is originally made for a shotgun, but the same principle can be applied in the making of a mount for my rifle. And by going this route I'm not restricted on the size or tube diameter if I wish to change scopes.


I am situated in the Westrand area, but do not mind travelling in and around Gauteng for a reputable gunsmith/engineer.

Any help would be appreciated.
