Hi Guys, I went out shooting over decoys yesterday and noted that of the 5 geese taken not one was a first shot kill and that all went down because of damaged wings. I further skinned these birds to see where other shots where taken and noticed that there where other wounds to the general body. i also make note of the fact that a goose should be hit in the area from the head to the upper chest as the intestine cavity is fairly large. i was using number 3's and will be going to the range later to pattern with different loads. In the states they use 1's and 2's what do you guys use with success?
