On the link posted the elderly couple was shot dead so the thread needs to be moved.
RIP and all the best to the family.
Its on the front page of the Star this morning , seems it was the caretaker of the guest house who ran out of bullets before finding something else to use. Article also states nothing was taken.
New details in the article below.
It is just getting more bizarre.
The suspect was completely trusted by the farm-owner, and had free access to his house and vehicles.
In the four years he worked at the guest-house, nothing was stolen.
The attacked guests gave him food during the weekend, and sweets to his children.
It appears as if the suspect stole the firearm from the farm-owners safe.

Just read this post now, but it was family of a ex-wife of a co-worker with me.
The guy also said that the family trusted the gardener and treated him extremely well and they were all shocked when the attack happened.
His ex wife is apparently traumatised.
Bottom line what i learn from this:
You cannot trust anybody!
Should be an interesting program, wonder if this is related?

I knew Brian, a very gently guy, who i never heard a bad word from, or who i would expect to harm anyone. This was just horrific and most probably the perpetrator is out on bail already.
