Hes a pawn, a fool creating a law that doesn't make sense. The fight is in the paperwork not the man, use your common sense.

They should maybe first sort out what Left and what Right. Seems the Seniors at SAPS don know their Left from Right.

He is your Pawn playing the game at a rank of King...
The muppet has more ideas of his own than someone pulling his strings, listen when he speaks as those are his own words.
The scenario at play is on the basis of boiling a frog slowly, unfortunately you don't realise the water is warm already.
Listen to what your Pawn says, the amendments are already in play and I would presume further down the line than legally declared.
I presume that you are a FA owner, you have an interest in GS?
Become streetwise and see the signs with the writing on the wall.
With the correct leadership, approach and planning the writing on the wall can be painted over to allow for a new clean slate and fairness for all but if left unchecked then the graffiti artists (in this case your Pawn) can come in overnight and turn the wall into an unsightly tasteless "artwork" which nobody likes and are not allowed to paint over...
As it may be so. Your physical war against the police is still foolish. My point still stands that good lawyers or law groups will indeed be the saving grace some seem to think are useless.
If you have an alternative to," they can try take my guns" and not hiring lawyers, I'd love to hear it.
Not trying to be ignorant, I'm just not being gullible to think that there is alternative solutions when you're dealing with amendments.

While there may well be legal action, and you must support the players please (even if I personally disagree strongly with NHSA's "settlement") every single firearm owner is obliged to make his or her voice heard, and as loudly as possible.
Not everyone has a journalists ear, but make the point on whatever platform you can. Write to the newspapers, tweet, whatever. It doesn't matter the platform, speak out.
Make them play by their own rules. And that means outing anti-gun companies or whatever and not shopping there etc. Don't get ludicrous obviously - some safety aspects like no fas in a mine (leave them at the gate) is not the same as a company having a publicly anti-gun stance in which it is for the disarmament of society. Use your common sense obvs.
Do it - every single one of you.
I'm all for and do support the different battles that the various FA associations, law groups and lawyers are fighting and supporting.
The power to possess may not be a legislated fundamental right but we as citizens of SA have rights and need to fight for possession power.
Some FA owners sit on their asses, don't belong to associations or groups, complain and ride the wave of others hard work with pro-firearm related issues but never reach out a helping hand to support where they can when an issue arises or is approaching and "fighting" funds are required.
Some will spend thousands to "pimp their gun" or upgrade parts but cannot spare a hundred or so to join a support group or association.
The power is in numbers and the numbers that support where they can and should is too low...
The reality is that the current powers that be want civilians disarmed and will try new tricks to try make it happen.
Supporting the associations who have the lawyers to fight the battle before the "fight" is real and they are knocking down a door to fetch a legal "arms cache, ammo and reloading gear" is important.
Going forward there is a rough road ahead for legal law-abiding FA owners whilst the side road is being paved for the "business people" who thrive on theft, murder etc with their illegal tools of the trade.
Deadly weapons are everywhere around us in different forms, is the law clamping down on them?
A car key, a pen, a sharpened butter knife can become a deadly weapon...
A half brick or stone can kill from a distance...
At the end of the day, if you are not naive and support or have someone fight a wise battle for you then we are on the same page.
Others have yet to open the book to read.
