pietskiet,
That combination seems to be holding on. I just do not like the mounts that come with the Nikko Sterling and prefer to change them to something better. The Hatsan's also seem to be a bit rought on scopes but the Nikko Sterling seems to handle it. (in reference to the Airking Range of scopes)
yes the mount didnt make it. I replaced it whith a thor 4 stud steel mount. It works great but was expensive
Those mounts on the Air King's are soft and just cant take it. I have stripped quite a few on mounting them and although they came together in the package deals, my advice was to rather change the mount.
guys try the thor steel mount. It has 4 studs vs the 3,is 1 pice and very strong. 450 for the mount and 240 for the rings at vlt in pta. They are up 2 the chalenge
btw corne the mount were talking about is the thor. It is local, has 4 locking studs, its made of steel and uses lynx tipe rings
I have heard about them and they seem to be a good answer to the problem.
thor doesnt have good service thou. Jou wait for ever if sumting is not in stock
me recoil stop plate broke clean off. I sent the rifle back so that they can make somekind of plan. I dont know Wat the smith is going to do but i have a feeling that the mount is going to be welded to the rifle. Obviously by a expert. The hatsan is really mean on a mount. I would beat that it is harder on a mount than a weirach.
