Well no its not. Though it still seems a fitting term considering no one else had that shape before TDI came along and how poor our use of the English language is anyway.

"Inspired" would be better.
I too thought why bother with a clone ( cheap knock off images came to mind)
I looked at his stuff and, taking into account pricing, decided to go with a genuine TDI. Have nothing against Xavier Knox but an super happy that I decided on the TDI and love that carry knife.
Keep an eye on Takealot... they often have the TDI for sale at an even greater discounted price.
I might be the odd one out here but I rather liked the sheath. I sold my TDI (and then regretted it) and now have a Retainer from Xavier. They are two different blades. I rate Xavier very highly.
What I liked about the TDI sheath was the metal clip it had. It was great for simply sticking to pants of any nature.
How concealable are these knives?
The Knox blade also has a dual cutting edge. Half of the top edge is sharpened.
They are very concealable. The blade sits downward behind the waistband and the grip parallel to the belt.
I'm really excited to be collecting my Bad'ger from Mr Xavier this morning :h1:
