We have a shooting range catering mainly for IPSC shooters, we also do 3 gun events and have a 100m rifle range, there are also a couple of members shooting 22 and black powder.
PROGUN PRACTICAL SHOOTING AND HUNTING
At our premises outside Stilfontein we have several shooting ranges for different purposes. Our ranges adhere to the prescribed safety standards and are supervised by trained and skilled range officers. Range use is free for club members during our opening times.
Shooting Range
100m Rifle Range
Our 100m rifle range provides 8 lanes for rifle shooters and is also used for clay pigeon shooting.
The 25m range 25m Standard Range
Our 2x5 lane 25m range is assessed for Handguns, Shotguns and Rifles. In competitions, this is where the standard disciplines are done.
10m Special Ranges
We have four 10m ranges used for combat shooting competitions.
Indoor Range
At our shop in Klerksdorp we also provide an indoor range for handgun use.
Recently, we started shooting at our new rifle range just outside Klerksdorp at distances up to 400m.

Does anyone know of a range (rifle) that is open in Potch tomorrow?
Pelindaba range near Harties, will get details. Apparently very busy over the weekend and you have to book, used by SA Hunters!

This could just as easily be in the Gauteng thread, as it's just on the border: has anyone used Idibi Shooting Range near Hartbeespoort? They have a 90m indoor rifle range and a 1030m gong range, but shooters sit inside and fire through tall/narrow 'windows'.
Also has a gunshop, which is a nice option if you want to buy a rifle and shoot some long range while you wait for licensing.
Not a bad option for folks from JHB/PTA as it's about an hour's drive.
