I have another 9mm at home, I also put a bunch of the reloaded ammo through my friend's 1911 colt 9mm and they worked fine. I loaded according to what the somchem book specified.

Eliminate the ammo. Shoot factory rounds and test (As recommended by BigT)
If the problem persists, I would replace the trigger return spring, hammer spring, sear spring and trigger bar spring.
These are easy to replace (except for the sear spring on the pre-b which might be a bit of a pain to remove the old-style safety lever) and you can easily do this yourself.
Loading to what the Somchem book states is a good guideline, but the book cannot adjust for inconsistent batches of powder. Having said that, the CZ75 have a reputation of shooting virtually anything which chambers.
Load, chrony test, adjust, chrony.
A good rule of thumb is to load your 9mmP rounds such that they make a factor of 125.
Velocity (ft/sec) x bullet weight (grains) / 1000
You know, its never possible that its the dudes reloads.
And its almost always, the dudes reloads :)
I would like to report back. Today I shot the same batch of reloads, the first three shots gave me the same issues as before, but per rescomp's suggestion I striped of the slide and tightend the disconnector's spring about one full turn. Then shot about 100 shots with no issues at all.
If you can tighten the mag catch spring screw, then it was loose to begin with.
Screw number 35 found here
Whoever dis-assembled the firearm made a booboo in re-assembling it.
Glad you got it sorted.
Yes, someone did work on the trigger previously. But yes I tightend that screw labled 35.
