Re: New APX sub compact and compact
I wonder if Beretta is planning on doing the APX in 45 ACP any time soon.
I have shot the 9mmP full size and love this weapon but love my G21 more cause 45
I would consider changing my platform, if APX comes to SA in 45 ACP, this would however contradict my GS handle
but then again lock is probably the bet supported platform in SA with the likes of Bernard agencies.
my be I just have an itch that currently I can't scratch!!
Re: New APX sub compact and compact
The centurion is one sweet gun.
I can see it following me home soon!!!!!:g:
Re: New APX sub compact and compact
Any idea of arrival here?
Re: New APX sub compact and compact
We are waiting for the Centurions. The Beretta distributor/agent says sometime towards the end of the year. Vague I know but that is what we can get out of them.
Re: New APX sub compact and compact
I have only given in my competency on Monday. Should be here in four months.
Reply I just got from Beretta was compact in 6-8 weeks max.
Thanks Khumba.
Re: New APX sub compact and compact
The APX can be as good and fit for purpose and accurate and whatever as it wants to be, it still is a fugly pistil in my honest opinion.
Yeah yeah, guns is not an emotional issue. I know. If pretty is needed look at something or someone else than firearms, but damn, that is on ugly pistol

And here I am thinking that the APX compact is a good looking pistol. :g:
I think it looks bad ass. Hopefully its a reliable gun that will give other striker-fired pistols some competition!
Re: New APX sub compact and compact
I like the look.
But as long as support is still through the same agents...
Re: New APX sub compact and compact
I like the look as well, advice I've had from gun shops is mainly that spare parts will be an issue, and then shows about four Glocks.
I would like to see the smaller ones. Full size might in my case become a safe queen.
Re: New APX sub compact and compact
How does licensing and serial numbers work on this?
As far as I understand, the APX has numbers on the barrel, slide and receiver.
So would you be able to put a compact frame on your Centurion licensed gun without relicensing? (since it is the same size barrel and slide)
How would the License card look with the frame number if it does not have one?
