Gunshops where good service is given.
Right, abhm suggested this, so let's list the people that give us good service.
Parow Arms - Shawn Jacobs: He's helpful, friendly and always willing to have a chat and give advice. Speak to him.
Rosenthal's - Steve & Nigel: Steve's helped me with a lot of advice over the past few weeks and he knows his knives.

Bay Guns in Mossel Bay, Johan (044 6908321).
If you are in the Garden Route and know of any others that are decent, I would be surprised (but interested) :)

Kalahari Arms 011 795 1100

That's where my business and money will go.
Re: Gunshops where good service is given.
Hunting nirvana, "Safari and Outdoor" in the WCP. Awesome variety of products up until now only available by import and / or on e-bay (mmmm... Realtree), decent prices catering from entry level right up to WTF!!!, two gunsmiths on premises, very knowledgeable, approachable and attentive staff, the best coffee I've ever tasted in a gunshop and comfy leather couches to watch DVDs on a moerse plasma-screen while drooling over your purchases and slurping your double espresso. And they have a website that works, is kept up-to-date and they actually reply if you send an e-mail!!! Oh and there's a bow-shop (Stillbow) upstairs! Oh... and did I mention the top-class wineshop right next door (your round next BoerBok)? happy0065

What more could one ask for?

Camdix - (011)660-2398
Johan and Bollie
They've been around for a long time and they know their stuff. It's still a shop where you can browse and pick up really cool stuff. They still make an effort to haul out the guns from the safe every morning and display them every day. Do NOT expect to go there and walk out with cash in your wallet! If you have a credit card, it WILL melt from overuse! ;D
