Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket hinged/fixed magazine system available for the mini actions. The same type that is found on standard short and long actions. The correct name eludes me? Thanks

As far as I know, there isn't. I even went so far as to email Howa to ask if they were going to release the mini with a floorplate in future and they said they weren't sure and it depended on demand.
It's a real shame as I think plenty of people would buy them with the traditional floorplate over the detachable mag
Thank you. Pretty much this. I won't be purchasing until I get a traditional floor plate magazine.
I also dont understand why they only brought the rifle with the magazine option only. For those who are irritated with the magazine falling out all the time, a remedy applied very suucesfully on my rifle by my gunsmith, is to shorten the plastic release lever. My magazine does not fall out any more and it does not bother me.
