So recently collected my competency certificate at the Douglasdale dfo, and shortly after relocated to Sunninghill.
Who would the dfo for Sunninghill be? Do I also need to inform them of the change of address?

I wouldn’t know who you would now fall under, but when I moved I just had to fill in a form at my DFO.
You can also get the change of address form on the saps website. I got one filled it in and handed to the DFO with pictures of my safe bolted to the wall. The process took about 5 minutes.

I don't think its required to provide change of address for a competency?
Sunninghill should fall under Sandton DFO.

The act specifically mentions competency certificates as such, an it is not mentioned in section 25 of the act, which deals with change of address.Quote:
Notification of change of address
25. (1) The holder of a licence, permit or authorisation issued in terms of this Chapter
must in writing notify the Registrar of any change in his or her physical or postal address
within 30 days of such change occurring.
(2) The Registrar must within 30 days after receiving a notice referred to in subsection
(1) acknowledge receipt of that notice in writing.
