Strangely enough my wife ordered items from Germany on 16 December, DHL shipped to SA where SAPO took over. We figured we were in for a long wait and got a nice surprise second week of January.

Can't see that slowing down. Their revenue from moving mail can't be enormous so they are running off the scraps of vehicle licensing if my local one is anything to go by. I go once a year to buy fishing licenses and renew car licenses and don't know anyone personally who uses them for anything else.

My parcel was stuck at Jamaica DHL E-commerce depot for 3 months.

Brownells refunded me in full. Last week, 7 months later my package arrived. I have a mate with exactly the same experience.

Yes had the same experience, I was going to say to Devilliers if the parcel never arrived query with Brownells and chances are they will make good.

btw do we still need those irritating ITAC permits to order from Brownells?

I donr think you nees a permit. There are however things that they cannot ship like optics etc due to export regulations.

Very helpfull customer services even when you call them.
