Very interesting , here we all want to sell our Hilux's and Fortuners

This was 20 years back so I've no idea if the pattern holds. Citi Golf's were quite an outlier so there may be other models now that are too.

I was more intriqued by the thefts and hijacking numbers were or are in propotion to market share or sales of a particular model.

I assumed due to our neigbouring counties not having certain dealerships made those models less likely to be stolen or hijacked

Parts.

I oddly enough had a bike stolen after an accident.

8 years later Uppington SAPS called me to collect or grant permission to scrap.

It was stolen in Cape Town and found on a truck.

They are very popular at the moment - Hilux's. And the takers seem to be doing a professional job. Jamming tracking, etc...
