MP / SP5 and AC Unity Mags

Hi everyone,

Anyone here running AC Unity magazines with their MP/SP5?

I have seen some negative comments on Reddit on the AC Unity mags, so would like to get some first hand feedback if possible.

i got a couple 40 rounders.

They fit a bit snug in my magwell, but I haven't had any real issues with them. That said I've only put a mag or 2 through each as I generally use the HK and KCI Metal 30 rounders in matches.

* Caveat I did have a couple feeding issues with them, but at the same time I had issues with other mags too. I ended up being a damaged extractor spring.

Out of interest, where do you get spares for your MP5?

Ok, the AC Unity mags need a hammer to get into my SP5, so I am pissed as I bought 5 from Waterfall and the sales guy went, well Martin Hood loves them and they work well in his gun.

Sell them to MH, along with a small hammer.

I've read on some of the HK Forums of guys sanding them to fit, maybe worth a look into.
From my reading it seems really hit and miss when it comes to these mags working in MP5's and their clones.

Just sand them slightly.
Same happens with many AK polymer mags. Slight sanding and they are perfect

Yeah I get that, but what pees me off is when you ask will they work, yes sir, for sure.

Then I need to sand them, make them fit and make them work.....Nah that is not how one should do business.
