According to the "rule of thirds" I should have had the sun at a third from the left or the right but is was a hastily taken snapshot just befor the sun set.
One too many wasted sunsets and one too many for the road .........

Hasn't got the aesthetic appeal of the amazing pics on this thread but bushveld sunsets work for me - pic was taken just before the first rains in Ingwelala.
The bottom pic is going off the theme, but was taken from the same spot in last afternoon light, hippo killed in dominance fight with alpha male, massive wounds on neck ..

I do not have sunsets, but here are two sunrises in Logar Province, Afghanistan. The Pumas are from South Africa.
