Bullet Identity
Hi. Does anyone know what bullet is used in the round in the picture. It's a 308 round. The case is a Nosler. Thanks in advance.

Re: Bullet Identity
My thoughts went to it possibly being a Brenneke TUG bullet, but those are silver in colour and yours in the picture has a copper colour. The S&B looks like the correct one here.

Re: Bullet Identity
Any info on using them for hunting?
Range, size of game and meat damage?

Re: Bullet Identity
I use my .308 mostly for Warthog, Impala, Blesbok sized game but I have hunted Black Wildebeest, Red Hartebeest
and Kudu with the same rounds out to about 150 meters. My eyes are a bit sat soI try to limit my range to around
100 - 150 meters. No discernible meat damage.
