    Default Cerakoting a CZ-75

Decided to get a smaller EDC so retiring my CZ-75 (1989 model) to the safe
Due to the years of carrying in a holster, the outside condition of the FA is not in the best state - even though it has less than 1,000 rounds through it

Any recommendations where I can take the FA for Cerakoting in Durban?
And approx. what would this cost?

That's what I'd do if was in debbin and couldn't do it myself. Kal-Gard Gun-Kote is good stuff and as everyone knows a 75 is supposed to be black.

At less than 1000 rounds the CZ has not even been run in yet.

If you add any hard coating to the slide rails or other friction areas, you will make it even tighter than what it is now, which could likely give you poor functioning and reliability.

My advice would be to shoot the pistol a lot more before having it refinished, to allow the friction surfaces to smooth out first.

Gun kote goes on very, very thin like 0.012mm dry at the thick end of the scale. All of the earlier minty low mileage 75's I've fondled were way looser than would cause an issue with that so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Agree with this. If adding gunkote or cerekote tightens things up that says more about the person applying it than the product itself.
