Default Weatherby Mark XXII 22lr Semi Auto Value

    Hi All,

I am looking to sell my Weatherby Mark XXII 22lr semi auto rifle and scope.
Rifle comes with a 10rd and a 5rd magazine as well as a silencer
Rifle is in great condition, there is some wear on the stock but it shoots brilliantly.
    Scope is an Adler 4-12x40

I am looking to get a sense of what its worth
    Thanks

Default Re: Weatherby Mark XXII 22lr Semi Auto Value

    I've seen two for sale.
This one at auction went for R10 200

    .22lr Weatherby Mark XX11 Beretta S/Auto Rifle-Sc
Fitted with Weaver 4X wide angle scope. High quality rifle with 24" barrel carrying open sights and five-round box magazine. Left side of receiver marked "MARK XX11 Weatherby P. Beretta". Monte-carlo type stock with two panel skip-line chequering to pistol grip & fore-end of monte-carlo styled stock. Good plus condition. Extremely scarce.

Another on a Telegram group asking R10k but I don't know if it sold.

AFAIK it has the option of semi or bolt via a switch. It is a full size rifle, made very well. Is is scarce and very cool.
The problem is the availability of magazines. People sometimes get scared off by the long term serviceability.

I believe the Parker-Hale? silencer goes for about R800 on Junkmail. The scope...no clue. In some cases people will not be interested in the accessories so they don't always push the price up.

Give it a shot at R10 000 or a tad more. Goodluck
