G3 scope mount?

Good evening Folks!

What is the easiest and fastest way to mount a telescope on a G3?

Any recommendations for a specific telescope to use?

The rifle would be used for recreational & sport shooting, and maybe pest control if really necessary.

The HK G3 claw will set back about 9K .

I had a look at it and it looks too high to use with the regular wooden stock. It goes great with the aftermarket straight stock.

Only a slight adjustment is needed as with any mount I guess.

This is the mount I run on my G3. I have a Vortex 3x red dot on it. use blue Loctite on the locking screws and you are good to go.

I saw that some sites claim that the MP5 and G3 use the same rails. Can anyone verify this?

B&T does make one that is a little shorter for MP5, G3, HK33 and HK53
