    Thanks Ady. Recoil pad will be added because im a wus and my neck is buggered already lol. But I think technique also lacking. Will look, for training from someone once I have it.

    A properly mounted shotgun really shouldn't hurt you and when you get push/pull right recoil ceases to be noticeable imo. If a pad makes it feel much better then you're probably doing it wrong

    True words.

    There is no better feeling than a shotgun that fits well and is comfortable.

    Indeed. Were I a great deal better off I would have one made to fit. What I have learned from shooting with much more experienced wingshooters of limited means though is that practice can take you a hell of a long way towards success even when your gun is a cheap and relatively ill fitting one. One elderly gent I know has a chunky baikal that is way too big for his very slight frame but he whacks pigeons with it like a champ. I think he may sometimes shoot a box or less of shells on a day but it is fairly rare to seem him miss and his pile of pigeons is often bigger than mine.
