You are correct, momentary lapse of reason.

    Glad you agree.

Is the issue you experience a leak? I other words, drop in pressure over time? I have this issue.

Can you find the leak with soapy water. A Cz200 silinder normally leak at the pressure indicator side. It cost about R600 to change the seal. But its a bitch to strip it.

I had the gun at extreme air when they were still in centurion. They said the leak is in the regulator itself and not worth the repair as they can't source a regulator for a decent price. It is slow enough that it does not impact a day's plinking, just won't hold pressure when stored for an extended period of time.

Have you tried a Dive Shop, or places like Afrox?

You struggle to fill a cylinder to 300bar except if you know somebody at a firestation. Most diveshops only fill to 232 bar.
Is your burst disc repairable (you can get discs at industrial high pressure testing businesses).
If you only fill out of a diving cylinder you can maybe use a thin piece of plate to bypass/plug your disc but then you bypass a safety feature.
