    Default Rat 2.0

    Rat 2.0
So my dad and i have decided that we are going to breed with our hunting dog Rat, we have found 3 male Parsensteriers but only one of the 3 is a hunting male so it looks like we gonna breed with the male that hunts. The only thing with the male dog that hunts is that the male is all the way in Grahamstown.
It became obvious that we need another hunting dog after watching Rat try bay a warthog by herself , so 2 dogs will make it easier and better on the tracking side of things.
Anycase got to end this one short, already in trouble for it being so late and im writing exams tomorrow.

Good luck with the breeding programme, will be interesting to see the offspring and their instincts.

A PH mate initially started using Jack Russells as hunting dogs but changed to long legged Fox terriers. He said that the JR was to over zealous and he lost a number of them while baying caracals and buff while the Foxxie was just as good but more cautious and would stay out of range.
