Default Is this knife worth keeping?

    Good day.

I have extremely limited knowledge about knifes. My sister gifted me a bunch of knifes. I did not have use for them, and passed them on to a friend who will definitely use them.

Anyway, one knife in particular seemed special. Old, well used with some surface rust. I kept this one, as there is a feeling of quality surrounding it.

Please share any info you might have about the manufacturer etc.

    Regards

    KZ

Second photos seems unclear, but the wording is: Carl Schlieper, Solingen, Germany.

Wow! Thank you so much Mr Krieger. 😎👌

So according to the info from the article, this knife was made between 1965 and 1979.

I think a proper restoration is in order from my side. 😁

I would keep it too. I have never seen one here in the states.
There are a few on some of the hunting pages.
I have an old Eichorn, 1940s vintage. My favorite hunting knife.
