There are levels. The 'better' stuff aimed at normal-ish people rather than CIT companies etc is all but indistinguishable from a standard vehicle from the outside and operates the same. Got to sit in an armoured G Wagen recently and there was little to tell inside that it was armoured but for the built out door moldings to accomodate the door glass.
