Hey come now, there was a shooting at a school in Germiston. I fail to see where you see the "sensationalism"?

If I had to guess, it's a parent or family member's firearm (legal or illegal, who knows), the kid found it and brought it to school to show friends.
It's not a school shooting, in the sense of the incidents we consider school shootings, but a shooting at a school. Subtle difference but still a difference.

It's a shitty event either way, and I'm sure heads will roll as this gets investigated.

There is something fundamentally wrong with our society, and our education system in particular, when tragedies like this are even conceivable. Something went terribly wrong in those kid's lives for them to think murder is the best solution.
