Palladium Boots - yay or nay or surrender?
As per title, does anyone have experience with these? I always thought these were yummy fashion accessories, but apparently they're actually meant to be military footwear.
I hate having hot feet in summer and I usually wear Converse All Stars, but of late the quality has been crap and the prices have e gone up, so I've been looking for another canvas based takkie. If these suck, anyone have any other suggestions?

When I asked former French soldiers about these boots, they answered that they would rather buy their own Lowa's.

I've owned several pairs of Hi Tec hiking boots over the years and they served me well

I bought some Hi-Tec tekkies but didn't get the old quality. The soles came of in 2 weeks.
I don't think they are all from the same factory though so ymmv.
If the classic Hi Tec Granite is still up to spec I'd like to try my first pair.

I have a pair of Palladiums for "fashion" while they are comfy, I have run them on the range a few times and were fine. As for actually using them everyday in the field, I cant comment.

Re: Palladium Boots - yay or nay or surrender?
I've had a pair for a while and only used them when traveling to snowy\cold environments.
Can't wear them a lot in SA, my feet get too hot.
Had no quality issues, they've been really comfortable and have stayed waterproof.
