Re: Printing of license card
Our written submission:
1. Competencies that have been approved but the CFR will not consider licence applications until the card is received by applicant.
An acceptable time elapses from the licence approval to the printing and delivery of the card. This must be addressed as a matter of urgency
As soon as we receive an answer we will post"Guns are just tools, the way they're used reflects the society they're apart of, if you don't like guns, blame it on society" ~Chris Kyle

Re: Printing of license card
I have been waiting for exactly 4 weeks since my licence was approved, and apparently the card is still in the "printing queue"... Anyway, has anybody had any success in bothering anyone and getting this last step sorted out? I have called the "printing department" a couple of time by calling 012 353 6000 and asking to be put through to them. It just rings and rings and rings. If someone does answer, they transfer you as soon as you say anything...
Also, can't get Sandton Police Station to sign a printout for me, so cant fetch my P30 just yet and its killing me!!!

Re: Printing of license card
spoke to pta-north dfo yesterday and got fed the same story of a backlog (of 17000) and that the printer was broken but fixed again and that they now ran out of laminating plastic for the cards....... what next? I'm waiting 5 weeks for my card thus far.
