    Default removal of fore sight......

    Good morning to all, I live in Middelburg and was wondering if there was a gunsmith or somewhere i could take my 243 musgrave to have the front sight (end of barrel) removed?

    My .243 Musgrave (K98) hade a dovetailed bead onto the bse. Took this off with a punch. Under this was a screw which held the sight base onto the barrell. Took this off and replaced with a small machine screw. Neat and no need to cut the barrell.
