Default Now this is a fighting shotgun!

No info on KelTec’s site yet. I found it on the re-unified The High Road. And from GlockTalk:

    • 18.5″ barrel, 26″ OAL, identical size to the RFB, just a little wider.
    • Cylinder bore 12 gage-2.75″. 14+1 rounds.
    • Manually switched dual-tube mag (7 each), switch is behind the grip, at the front of the loading/ejection opening. Switch can be centered to un-chamber a round without re-chambering.
    • Bottom ejecting and loading
    • Available 2011
    • MSRP not yet set
    • Pump action

Yup looks very Neostead. Let's hope it doesn't have that retarded pump forward action.

Other than the backward pump action, would you consider the Neostead a good fighting shotgun, or are there other problems?

Not quite Neostead although similar in concept. It doesnt have the retarded tip up mag tubes. Bottom feed and eject it seems. Hopefully its not as heavy as a FAL like the Neostead.

I have had oppertunity to play with them a bit and I really don't like the neostead at all. It is another attempt to make a shotgun act like a carbine. A shotgun and carbine are different things and a shotgun doesnt make a great carbine. It does though make an awwesome shotgun if it is allowed to handle like one which the Neostead doesn't.

    Hello Red!
The shotgun is pretty too. I like the look of this better than the Neostead.

Looks similar to a Neostead. Neostead has the mag tubes above the barrel.

Bullpup design makes it a doozy to use in a vehicle, one tube loaded with LG and the other loaded with slugs!
