this was my first licence application ever. The motivation was done professionally (though I did read something about "copy and paste jobs" earlier)

If anyone could suggest a lawyer firm that deals with appeals, that would be much appreciated. (I assumed that appealing via a firm would be my safest bet?)

After Clark Attorneys advised me to reapply, I did just that.

I already have a license for SD but wanted to replace my current firearm with another firearm and attached a motivation together with a letter from the gun shop stipulating that they will take possession of the firearm should the new license be approved. I have previously been successful in this regard so my best guess is that it depends on the person handling the application in Pretoria.

Submitted a new application for occasional sport shooting: 22 June 2018
Approval SMS: 6 August 2018.

I am sure it has been mentioned before. Do not wait for the letter to arrive via snail mail. Go to your DFO and insist they print you one.

Hi anyone knows how long it's take if i send the proof of change of gun ownership together with a new application it's takes 180days or it's done at once with 90days?

Good day every one has any body being asked to submit proof of employment en proof of ownership of motor vehicles before appeal can be finalised?????

Hi there.I put in my motivation that I drive a car that's known for being hi-jacked and stolen,but I did not submit proof of ownership.I only included the VIN number and registration number of the car and proof of employment.
