Emailed multiple times during the process, replies were erratic to say the least. Never got through on the phone. My application got stuck at Provincial for at least two months for some unknown reason - there was much confusion between the DFO, Provincial and CFR as to the actual status of my application.

I am new to Gunsite and this is my first ever message. I’m so excited that I’m finally part of the family. I have been following threads from this site and I must say, it is both informative and educational in many ways when it comes firearms and licensing and legal aspects of owning a firearm. It is good to know that I am not the only one frustrated with the processes of the Central Firearms Registry.

I can’t believe this. My FA license was approved yesterday and received my card today. My DFO called me to tell that he went to collect cards yesterday and mine was also printed.
