Spitser vs round nose

I use to load 150gr Siera Pro-Hunters roundnose bullets in my .308 for hunting impala. This weekend I saw 150gr Siera Pro-Hunter spitsers.

My question:
1) What is the differance in performance between a spitser and a round nose?
2) What bullet do you guys recommend for hunting BWB with my .308 ?

1) Not much really. Due to a better ballistic coefficient the spitzers will have a slightly flatter trajectory and may be better for shots beyond say 200m.

2) I reckon at least 180 grain for Blue wildebeest. Rhinos should work well, but a conventional bullet should alos work finer at the moderate velocity.

What do you think of a 180gr PMP Pro-Amm at +-2100 - 2400 f/ps?
