Validity of competency training done in 2006?

I did my competency course for rifle and handgun in 2006 an subsequently receiced my competency card from the SAPS in 2007. Now I want to buy a shotgun and therefore need to do the competency training for this too. If I renew my competencies for the rifle and handgun, will my training still be valid or has the unit standard changed? If I do the shotgun training seperately, can I apply for the shotgun competency certificate seperately or will I have to do all 3 firearm types at once?

The unit standard has changed, but as I understand it, provided you achieved the unit standard before the cut off - and it seems that you have - they remain vaild and you can apply for renewal with them.

The renewal and new application are seperate.
