Re: Shooting ranges
Knights Shooting Range... Only 100m - but reasonable. Don't try and find a safe range... It should be safe because you're there. On a map find the corners of Piet & Shaft in Knights and follow the boards. Open Tues-Sun 08h00(?) till about 15h00. Range Fees R40, unlimited time.
On the far East Rand (Get a passport) there's Bluegum Valley - don't have their details.

Re: Shooting ranges
I know knights very well...I go there often!
I was hoping for a longer range nearby but I think bluegum is it!

Re: Shooting ranges
You get targets and stands at Knights (My 375 took one of their stands to pieces last week....ripped the thing in half. Kinda think those stands are used to it...from all the weld marks)
I hear the facilities at bluegum are very good. I've never been there on account of the distance so can't vouch for them personally

The Welgegund shooting range North West of Joburg (25.811172°S – 27.954660°E) at Pelindaba is a 600 meter range but only used to 400 meters.
