List your big bore calibers
I think it will be nice if the big bore chaps list their calibers. Will give us a good feel for calibers used, and obviously share load data, bullets used etc.
I'll start. Currently I have and load for the following:
416 Rigby (All rounder)
45/70 Gov (Bushveld favorite)
450 Marlin Magnum (Virgin - just seen shooting ranges)

Re: List your big bore calibers
I own and load for a Black Powder target rifle in .45-70. Sorry I do not have a pic of the rifle but here's one of some of the loads.

Re: List your big bore calibers
9.3 x 62 Double square bridge Oberndorff Mauser. Therefore I cannot (should not) have it drilled and tapped for a scope. This limits my using this superb rifle, as my eyes have reached the stage where I cannot really shoot well with open sights.
9.5 x 57 Mannlicher Schoenauer. Load it with 270 gr .375 bullets. Same limitation as above.
.375 H&H, Mauser action, RSA built rifle. Handles very well, but alas, eye limitations again.
.375 H&H Musgrave Mod 90 with Leupold 1,5 - 5X variable scope. Load it with all .375 bullets but does best with 200 gr Impalas and 300 gr Hornady round noses. I even used this one for springbuck and gemsbuck in the Kalahari in 2010.
.450/577 Martini henry - Feed it with Ken Stewart swaged lead bullets, in Ken Stewart cases containing 80 grains of Black Powder.
(Was having a lot of fun at firearms festival with this one)
My favourite - .458 Winchester Magnum in Pre '64 Winchester rifle, with old steel tube Weaver scope on swing off bases. I have developed loads in this rifle for everything from Mambas to Elephant. For medium sized bushveld game (Impala to Blue wildebeest) 300 gr Impala is my favourite. For buffalo, I used the 500 gr winchester factory ammo. Never encountered the dreaded underpenetration with them. If and when I get a chance at elephant, I will probably load a 450 gr Monolithic solid.
