    @WinchesterBoer

    Very nice ZKK, could be my 308's twin! There's a Czech guy in the states that sells off ZKK spares from time to time, I got mine years ago through him via a friend there. I don't have the contact details anymore but googling should give you a few forum hits.

    If you ever decide to swop out the scope, do yourself a favour and get a set of CZ-specific Warne mounts. (Yours look like Parker-Hale mounts, like mine also had. They very almost fit correctly and worked for many years for my rifle's previous owner, but my CDO couldn't allow me to reuse them).

    I bet it still shoots very well!

    @Pirate,

    Thanks, I am actually not sure what mounts they are, but it's an old K4 Weaver 4 x 32 scope, man I tell you, that thing is bullet proof. The previous owner was a farmer, he retired when he was around 80 years old or so, sold his farm and all his rifles to the local gunshop and moved to an old-age home. I assume he bought the gun new and put the scope on as well. It's been on the gun ever since. I've bumped it, dropped it (all by accident obviously) and keeps it's zero. My pride and joy

    All CZ550 look the same so I will show the difference with my 6.5mm.

    Andrew, as far as adjustable cheek pieces go, that's probably as elegant as they come. Nicely done!

    Just for information's sake: the newer zkk models have 2 digits stamped on the barrel and the receiver to identify the year
    Mine is a 95' model

    My CZ 550 lux in .308 Win.
    Hawke Vantage 3-9-40 with IR mildot scope,bi-pod,sling and butt stock bag.
    I took the front sight off as it was just visible through the scope and i prefer the cleaner line it gives to the look of the rifle,plus its no big deal to put the front sight back on.

    I bought this 1981 ZKK601 from an old oom, he had 8 rounds through the barrel, hurt his shoulder at work, and it slept in a safe for about 35 years. When I got it, I had to replace the recoil pad as it had rot away due to being stored in the rifle bag, inside a safe.

    Great purchase! How was the barrels bore condition from being stored in the bag? I hope shiny and no pitting!
