We have just been informed that our application for the export of DS ARMS rifles have been approved by the US DoS.

This is the culmination of a 6 month process form the first contact with DS Arms untill the export permit was approved.

The current order is pre-sold.

We will be getting :

SA58 CTC Rifles = the very well known DSA FAL rifle.

The SA58 is enhanced over the FN FAL. It features a fluted 16" barrel, Nitride coated bore, greatly enhanced trigger, enhanced SAW pistol grip, alluminium lower receiver, enhanced iron sights, flat top dust cover/optic mount, quad rail forward grip and short gas system.

ZM4 Midlength = not so well known excellent quality AR platform rifles that DSA builds. Fluted 16" heavy barrel, midlength gas system, nitride (= tenifer/melonite) coated bore, 1:9 twist ordnance steel chrome moly barrel, Mill Spec receiver 70-75T6 alluminium.

Patric Sweeney in his Book The AR-15 Volume 3 says:

-"the nitride coated barrel/bore shrugs off corrosion. In testing they have had shooters who have kept match grade accuracy well beyond the life of a hard-chromed barrel. Some shooters have reported barrels that lasted into 25'000=30'000 round range".

-"as far as fit and function is concerned, the DSA is superb. It should be, since they machine their own uppers and lowers and can correct a fitting problem if and when it arises without having to go screaming back to a sub-contractor. The staff knows how to build rifles, I've watched them do it"

Ah my week is ending good... This is great news Khumba. Was on the DSA website a little earlier as it is, and I am VERY keen on those ZM4s.
