Yes your DFO will print the competency certificate and stamp it for you.

SMS Recieved: 11 July - recieving att at DFO
SMS Received: 18 July - receiving att a Provinsial DFO
SMS Received: 14 Sept - Competency approved.
Collected : 20 Oct.

This is an old thread but seeing these sms dates of the docs getting attention of dfo just a couple days after applying makes me worry i sent in my competency on 22/12/2017 and still no sms of anything about it

I wouldn't worry about it too much, but you can call CFR.
I had no messages about my last three License applications, not even that they were approved.
My step-brother also didn't receive any messages for his competency.

Good to hear that silence doesnt mean nothing happening. Hate it being in the dark wil see if i actualy have the patience and the wait is only beginning haha think i wil call CFR by end of the month if i havnt heard anything yet

I waited very long, over 5 months for my competency. I also saw somewhere that a comp has 120 working days and doesn’t fall under the 90 working days for licenses.

And even once your license is approved you can wait seriously long for the card!

Where do you see 120 working days? It is 4 months.
