Competency certificates: Waiting time

Handed in - 11/06/2019
Received attention at DFO - ....

Its been 24 working days and still no attention for me. My hand gun competency took 127 days to be approved.
Looks like its going to be another long 6 months for me.
Also handed in my firearm app in 25/06/2019 and also no attention yet.

I need to renew my competency for handgun, manually operated rifle and shotgun shortly. What is the process, what do I need to be aware of and what is the approx waiting time?

Also, can I submit this along with my s.13 licence renewal?

I handed in my competency application for section 13 pistol at Barkly east saps 24-05-19

Sms received that app Receiving attention at DFO 05-06-19

Contacted DFO 26-05-19, my app was still on his desk.

Hopefully get some answers on Monday.
I'm new too this firearm ordeal but seems I'm not going to be first time lucky.
Will update.

It is totally ridiculous that the CFR is now applying delays and waiting times (which used to only apply to licence applications) also to competency applications.... WTF!????

My 1st competency took 124 days to be approved from the day I applied. I also handed in my firearm application on 25 June 19, and I'm still waiting for attention.
A friend of mine applied a few days later at a different DFO and got attention for his further comp and firearm the same day and they already did a safe inspection. My DFO said he will only inspect mine after its approved and refused to accept the pictures I included.
I guess I am going to be one of the unlucky ones.
