8x60s

Hi I have an uncle looking for a scope to put on his 8x60s rifle, what would be a good choice and where will he be able to get one? Also where can he buy brass and bullets for it? Any help would be much appreciated

Wolf777,

He can try Rosenthal in the Cape. They stock RWS and Prvi brass. I think Camdix also stock brass. Be prepared to pay a lot for RWS brass. The bullets will be .323 but the weight will depend on barrel twist. I am currently reloading for the 8x60s and use a 220gr Sierra gameking bullet with 50.6gr S355. I got this load from Mauritz Coetzee. I have a Special African Model Obendorf Mauser with a 27.5 inch barrel.

Do you have any other reloading data on the 8X60s for the S365 From Somchem??? If not, do you know where i can find some or who i can contact???

Hier is my laading:
196 gr Woodleigh RNSP
48 gr S335
CCI 200 Primer
Prvi Doppe

Kry 2380 - 2400 f/ps

Idiaal vir Bosveld en het n ou varkie met die laading om gedop.

Ek skiet oop visiere maar iets soos n 3-9x40 sal oor as genoeg wees.

Ek het onlangs ammo by Camdix gekoop vir n 8x60 ,

Roosenthals en Camdix het ammo en doppe gehad laas wat ek gekyk het.
Hot Power in Krugersdorp het Hornady Dies op die rak gehad toe ek gister daar was.
