    Default Hatsan Escort Shotgun

I am currently looking at getting a shotgun for hunting on a very tight budget. I have seen the Hatsan Escort range of shoguns which are made in Turkey and fits my current budget at this point in time. While I have had some experience with Hatsan Air Rifles, I have none with their shotguns. The particular shotgun I have seen and like comes in a synthetic stock and feels and looks of reasonable quality.Anyone on the forum have any experience with these shotguns? I'd appreciate any advice / help wrt this. Thanks.

Hey bud. The Escort is a nice shotty. Have you seen the MPS. It is also nice. I had the charnce of shooting both and for the value for money well worth it they also slug barrels so no problems there. The racking on them is quiet shot and comfortable. Compared to a remington 870 I have been shooting I would rather use the MPS.

I found 2 dealers in pmb area. The first quoted me 4k the second quoted me 6k so not bad value for money.

The mps comes kitted with rails so it is really a steal.

thanks bro. I was quoted 3.8K for the escort supreme max. I am looking at a shot gun for hunting and had a look at the MPS which I find to be more tactical. Do you figure the MPS will serve both as a tactical and hunting shotty?

Isnt the sumpreme max semi auto?

The MPS is a solid all round. I shot a rifled slug hit a 40kg bush pig in the crops 3 weeks ago. Dropped stone dead. It has a redot and tactical light. So for the farm works dual purpose. I guess you should start by asking what do you want to hunt?

Is it 3.8K new? I shot my mates hatsan and it is awesome that I am sourcing one. unless I find a Mossburg 500 between then

Ii shot both OxU and pump they good guns. I can not fault anything on them honestly.

I'm also strongly considering the Escort MPS. Will hopefully shoot one on Wednesday and decide from there.

I was also looking at getting an Escort MPS. After i shot it I was very happy and for the price it looks like good value for money(Could have got one for R4000) but the Norinco CQ-A came along so it didn't happen. I'll definitely consider it in the future.
