I edc a 9mmP, I have a 7.65mm in the safe, sometimes I feel bad for it and decide to carry it...with the 9mmP.

Because even going outside to turn the pump off with only the 7.65mm puts me at a much greater disadvantage than having my 9mm in case of an attack.

When I have both and get attacked I whip them both out, hold them sideways and go all gangsta on them. Who needs sight picture.

    Yes.

The weight of the EDC gun is nothing.

The weight you carry is the responsibility of looking after it and of using it when it is the right time and place.

A few posts on this thread have the question: “Is the weight not a problem.” Or “Guns are heavy, do you really carry it always” type of.

Regarding carry always - Jip, always, everyday, everywhere.

On the weight: Here is an event describing how used to carry one gets.

So the other morning I got dressed, as usual. I put my IWB in its place (customized old faithfull for Glock 19). Then the phone rang and I got distracted. About an hour later I realised that the gun was never put in the holster. I did not register up to that point that there are weight missing. The feel of the holster was there, so I felt good to go.

Was working from home that day, so not a problem. Gun was still in its “night place.”

I can literally count the number of days per year in which my gun spends in the safe (as opposed to with me under my direct control) on my one hand's fingers.

Carry always, because home invasions happens at home.
