Re: copper fouling removal
Hi guys,
Would the copper cutter or MPRO7 have any negative affect on the normal "bronze" bore brushes? Is a nylon brush more effective?

Re: copper fouling removal
Any product designed to remove copper is going to have an adverse effect on a "bronze" brush. Best is to apply the solution with a mop and brush with a nylon brush. Be careful using a bronze jag with solution on a patch, you will keep on getting false signs of copper in your barrel as the solution reacts with the jag. Non bronze jags are available.
I often use VFG felt pellets to apply cleaning agents to a barrel

Re: copper fouling removal
Go to the Nicholas Yale website, click on gun care, scroll to the last product in the list. Of course I am a little biased in my opinion, but it works as fast as anything else and it is safe on all types of steel. It is also affordable.
