Hi guys just for interest sake how long would you wait from the time you hand in a license application to receiving the first sms confirming the DFO is dealing with it? or the app is registered

From same day to around 2 days afterwards. Depends on DFO.

Once they enter your details into the system you will get your sms

Witbank they process once a week. Just before delivering them to provincial.

Wow, my Sect 13 was submitted at Honeydew on the 8th. Got the confirmation SMS on the 8th with reference number.
