Called CFR now. My competency has gone for fingerprint checks. Lady tells me it's the first step so still 8 weeks from now. I applied 22 Aug. Don't think I believe her as I got the generic "call again after 3 weeks" mantra.

Also I don't know about the rest of you, I sukkel to hear these guys when I phone, so I tell the operator, "sorry, I am hard of hearing, could you please repeat that"

1- it's always good for a laugh to see how they actually pick up the receiver (they like loudspeaker) and
2- I can actually hear them

You will have a hard time explaining to the police why you have 9x19 ammunition in your possession when you have a licence, on the face of it, for 9x18.
