Lee Enfield Rifle Association SA
I know a while back the Lee Enfield Rifle Association SA was formed. Now I was interested in joining as I have a mint condition No4 Mk2 and I want to shoot it more often.
Anyone know if LERA SA is still going? If so, are they recognised by NSA or SAHGCA?
I want to use my Lee Enfield for sport shooting without doing ANYTHING to it and LERA is perfect if they are still going.

Re: Lee Enfield Rifle Association SA
I have sent out emails, but have not received any replies yet. Maybe through the day I will be lucky. If it fails I will give them a call.

Re: Lee Enfield Rifle Association SA
I think I have an additional cell phone/email for Dirk.
It is on the pamphlet I picked up at the show. Will post it tonight when I get home.
Cheers

Re: Lee Enfield Rifle Association SA
For those who are interested, LERASA is going strong and getting new members all the time. They have new branches in the Free State and in the Cape. There are two branches in Gauteng now, the Pretoria and JHB branch. PTA shoots at Genl. Piet Joubert and JHB at Heidelberg.
Contact Dirk Swanepoel for more details on whats happening when en who the chairman of your province is.

Looks like I will be joining sooner rather than later! Just received a Enfield 303 from my skoonpa, will be doing the license for it soon!

Excellent! Enfields are a ton of fun to shoot. My 2nd one is on its way. Waiting for the license for my first SMLE. A No1 MkIII* to be exact.

Re: Lee Enfield Rifle Association SA
You will have to speak to Dirk about that. But as far as I know it is only for .303's.
