Applying for occasinal sports licence whilst appealing a SD licence
Hi Guys
I applied for a SD license for glock 23 last year june and was subsequently declined in may 2011for lack of motivation. The competency was approved.
I submitted an appeal with the help of legally armed on the 31/8/2011 and as yet the appeal has not even been registered. I thought appeals needed to be sorted within 3 months?
Nevertheless I would like to apply for another occasional sports license for a glock 19.Should I wait for the appeal result first or what else can I do to secure myself a firearm.
TIA

I would think it might be better waiting, seeing as you have to declare if you were ever refused a licence, and this might count against you. Pushing for an appeal might make it easier that way.
