Poor Boy Trigger Job for Single Actions
Hi guysHave any of you guys tried the poor boys trigger job that is floating arround on the web(gunblast.com)?Is it safe and will it gamage my Super Blackhawk? I am not keen on the part where they marry the trigger components buy using upward pressure on the hammer while dry firing. I am interested in lightening the trigger pull by releasing one side of the trigger tensioning spring. If anyone has tried it, please let me know how it worked for you. This is NOT recomended for inferior firearms.ThanksDylan

Sheesh! Give a man a new gun virtually for free and look what he wants to do with it!

Re: Poor Boy Trigger Job for Single Actions
Hi JS4. I know I know, I can't leave anything alone cause there are few things that cannot be improoved from stock standard. I'm used to pcp airrifles with awesome triggers, now I expect all triggers to be like that.

Hahaha!
Each to his own mate. I wouldn't do it 'cause I don't know enough to guarantee that I won't stuff it up. YVMV.Be ready for anything, and if his head is not at least two meters away from the body, do not 'assume' he is dead and out of the fight. - Ikor

one thing I've had to learn the hard way is that geodkoop is duurkoop.
If you eff it up just be prepaired to pay your school fees...which usually ends up costing more than it would have originally anyway...

Re: Poor Boy Trigger Job for Single Actions
Thanks guys. Been playing arround with it, unloaded. Std=2kg, one side of the spring off=1.25kg. I don't like the idea of the spring being lobsided or running against the mainspring. Think ill let the pros check it out. Do you have a # for Phil Morgan by any chance. Thanks
